🏆The Provincial School Championships is the premier annual event hosted by Table Tennis Saskatchewan (TTSASK) to crown the top student-athletes and school teams in the province. This tournament serves as a critical entry point for the Long-Term Athlete Development pathway, identifying talent for future regional and provincial teams, including the Saskatchewan Winter Games.
Event Details
- Dates: April 24–25, 2026
- Location: Zion Lutheran Church, 323 4th Ave S, Saskatoon.

- Friday, April 24:
Doors open at 5:00 pm.
Preliminary rounds for Singles and Doubles begin at 5:30 pm.
- Saturday, April 25:
Doors open at 8:30 am.
Singles and Doubles placing rounds begin at 9:00 am and 12:00 pm respectively.
Tournament Structure & Divisions
The competition is split into two primary divisions to ensure fair play across all age groups:
- High School Division: Open to students in Grades 9–12.
- Elementary / Junior High Division: Open to students in Grades 1–8.
Events Include:
- Singles: Categorized by grade levels (Senior: 11-12; Junior: 9-10, 7-8, 5-6; Elementary: 1-4).
- Doubles: Includes Boys', Girls', and Mixed categories across all age divisions.
The Goal: School Spirit & Provincial Banners
While individual medals are awarded to winners and runners-up, the heart of this tournament is the School Point Allocation. Students compete not just for themselves, but to earn points for their school.
Point System: Points are awarded based on final placements in A and B divisions.

Team Requirement: Athletes must be from the same school for points to count toward the overall School Championship banner.
Essential Rules & Requirements
Membership: All competitors must be registered members of TTSASK for the 2025/2026 season.
Registration: You can either register online or email the completed form to mark@ttsask.ca.
A valid membership ID number starting with 2526 is required for entry.
Equipment & Attire:
- ITTF Approved tables and white three-star plastic balls will be used.
- Players must NOT wear white shirts, shorts, or skirts (clothing must contrast with the ball).
- Only non-marking indoor court shoes are permitted.
