Competing beyond Saskatchewan is how ratings grow and players develop – so TTSASK puts money behind it, simply. Every member athlete can claim a travel subsidy for up to five out-of-province tournaments each season, at any sanctioned 2★-or-higher event of their choice. You pick the tournament, you make the trip, we help with the cost.
Athletes make their own arrangements – registration, travel, hotel, chaperoning, and all payments. The subsidy is paid to you by e-transfer after the event. Amounts are set annually.
Choose any sanctioned 2★ or higher event outside Saskatchewan – our Alberta & Manitoba guide maps the season's best options within driving distance.
Enter the event and arrange your own travel, accommodation, and (for youth) chaperoning. Families often team up with other SK players heading to the same tournament.
After the event, email the office with your entry confirmation. TTSASK sends your subsidy by e-transfer – $100 per event for youth, $50 for adults, up to five events a season.
When enough Saskatchewan athletes enter the same tournament, TTSASK will consider sending a provincial coach to corner for the group – decided case-by-case. Heading somewhere with teammates? Tell the office early so we can plan.
Two events each season are full TTSASK team trips: we organize the travel plan and send Saskatchewan coaches with the team. These are run separately from the five-tournament subsidy above.
