Chaperone a team.

When our young athletes travel to compete, they need trusted adults alongside them. Chaperones are the reassuring, steady presence away from home that lets athletes focus on their game – and lets parents relax.

The Role

What’s involved

  • Supervising youth athletes on team trips
  • Helping the day run to schedule – meals, curfews, meeting points
  • Being a calm, approachable point of contact
  • Working alongside coaches and the team manager

What you need

  • Comfort and confidence around young people
  • Good judgement and reliability
  • Respect in Sport & a screening check (see below)
  • Availability for the trip dates

Keeping athletes safe

Because you’ll be responsible for youth away from home, chaperones complete Respect in Sport (a short, free online course) and a screening / criminal record check – the same standard our coaches meet. It’s quick, and we’ll guide you through every step. See how safe sport works →
