TOURNAMENT RULES & STRUCTURE

Start Times: The listed starting times are for guidance only. An event may start prior to the time listed, therefore competitors should be at the venue one hour before scheduled playing time.

Rules: ITTF rules shall govern all play (ittf.com). The referee reserves the right to alter the structure of any event or cancel events without insufficient entries.

Eligibility: All competitors must be in good standing and be a registered member of a Provincial Association and have paid their individual membership for the 2024-2025 season. TTSASK membership can be purchased at registration or at TTSASK.ca. Players under 18 require parent/guardian waivers.

Equipment: TTSASK approved tables and white plastic 3 Star balls.

Prizes: Medals for the winner and runners-up in all events.

Scoring: All matches will be either best of 3 Scoring or best of 5 and all games up to 11 points. Tournament referee reserves the right to alter the structure of any events.

Ratings: Ratings from TTCAN website (ttcan.ca) of the most recent period will be used.

Singles Events: First stage in each event will be a round robin, then each player will be divided into A, B and C division leading to single knockout. For Junior Singles, participants must be born in 2005 or later. Any event with 5 or less participants will be a round robin final.
